The Department on Disability provides technical assistance (TA) to City of Los Angeles departments to help them understand the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other disability access laws, regulations, and best practices, as it applies to their work. Topics DOD provides TA on include:

To request technical assistance, please submit the ADA Technical Assistance Request Form. If your department cannot access google forms, you may submit your technical assistance request to dod.contact@lacity.org.
DOD will respond to your TA request within 1 week, unless you indicate in the request form that you need a faster response.
*To request DOD’s accessible communication services (Sign Language Interpreting, CART, Video Remote Interpreting, Braille, and Document Remediation), visit the DOD Services page. Please do not submit your request through the technical assistance form.
